Zhane Austin

Zhane Austin, expected class of 2021, is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is currently studying political science at Hampton University, a dynamic, progressive institution of higher education, providing a broad range of technical, liberal arts, and graduate degree programs. Zhane has a plethora of pre-law experience with working as a legal intern for Philadelphia Defenders Association, serving as a legal intern for Aziz Law Group, and a judicial intern for Judge James Lynn in Philadelphia Family Court. She is highly involved in politics with interning as a congressional intern, education chair for the NAACP, and volunteering with the Democratic National Committee through voter outreach. Zhane’s aspirations are to graduate from Hampton University and to attend law school. After law school, she wants to become a public defender and use her platform to advocate for neglected and abused children.
