Charlotte Y. Reid

Charlotte Y. Reid is the Chief Visionary Officer at Reid | Rodell, an internationally reputed event design firm based in Washington, DC. She is an interior designer and planner who, until merging with partner Anthony Rodell in 2016, ran her own residential and commercial design firm, Charlotte Reid Design & Events for over a decade. Ms. Reid incorporates over 25 years’ worth of diverse experience from public affairs marketing, interior design, and bespoke event design in her work. She is a member of the Leadership of Greater Washington Class of 2012.

Ms. Reid’s path after college included roles such as media coach to clients from Capitol Hill and Fortune 100™ companies, and publicist to authors, actors, and national foundations.  As the previous marketing director for a Washington-DC based firm, she coordinated, planned and executed VIP level events for members of Congress, the Mayor of the District of Columbia, Foreign Service officers, and other dignitaries.  She has also been a key organizer for national literary events such as the Baltimore Book Festival, the CBC Annual Authors Pavilion, and the Capital Bookfest, featuring hundreds of authors each.
