Marvellous Oke, expected class of 2020, is originally from Ogun State, Nigeria. She currently attends Morgan State University, where she is majoring in Psychology (research and medicine track). 

Noah Nicholas

Returning awardee Noah Nicholas, expected class of 2020, is from Stone Mountain, Georgia and will graduate from Howard University, a high research activity institution. While at Howard University, Noah is majoring in sports medicine.

Olivia Aiken

Olivia Aiken, expected class of 2020, is majoring in business administration and accounting at Howard University. Olivia has traveled across the country from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to attend Howard University in Washington, DC.

Summer Williams

Summer Williams, expected class of 2022, is from Columbia, Maryland. Summer is earning a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering at North Carolina A&T State University, a public, historically black, research university.

Zhane Austin

Zhane Austin, expected class of 2021, is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is currently studying political science at Hampton University, a dynamic, progressive institution of higher education, providing a broad range of technical, liberal arts, and graduate degree programs.

Zuri Godfrey

Returning awardee Zuri Godfrey, expected class of 2021, is originally from Hampton, Virginia. He is studying business management at Howard University, one of the leading universities for STEM-related fields.

Amy Challe

Amy Challe, expected class of 2019, immigrated to the United States from Sierra Leone, Africa. She is pursuing an associate degree at the University of the District of Columbia, an institution dedicated to serving the needs of the community of the District of Columbia, in Early Childhood Education. 

Bryson Houston​

Bryson Houston, expected class of 2021, is from Dallas, Texas. He currently studies Biology at Morehouse College, a private historically black liberal arts college for men, in Atlanta, Georgia. At Morehouse College, he serves as an office assistant in the Office of Health Professionals.

Fenesia Lucky

Fenesia Lucky, expected class of 2021, is from Mobile, Alabama. At the Fort Valley State University, one of the most affordable colleges in the country, she majors in pre-veterinary medicine. 

Jenai Frenette

Jenai Frenette, expected class of 2021, is a nursing major at Howard University, ranked the 89th best university according to U.S. News & World Report. Jenai originally from Waterbury, Connecticut. 

Jordan Randle

Jordan Randle, expected class of 2020, hails from Alexandria, Virginia. He currently studies Finance at Morehouse College, one of the only three all-male liberal arts colleges in the country. 

Lacey Foster

Lacey Foster, expected class of 2020, is a Biology major at Spelman College, a global leader in the education of women of African descent. Lacey is originally from Columbia, Maryland.

Kamryn Tillman

Kamryn Tillman, expected class of 2020, is majoring in Chemical Engineering at Howard University, which has one of the top business colleges. Kamryn is originally from Snellville, Georgia.

Kianna Hawkins

Kianna Hawkins, expected class of 2020, is studying supply chain management at Howard University, an institution with 13 schools and colleges. She is is from Houston, Texas.

Kobi Henson

Kobi Henson, expected class of 2020, is from Norcross, New Jersey. She currently majors in Architecture at Hampton University, a progressive institution of higher education. 

Kyla Wright

Kyla Wright expected class of 2019, is from Southfield, Michigan. She currently majors in Journalism and minors in Sociology at Hampton University, which is comprised of seven schools.

Max Fuentes, expected class of 2019, is from El Salvador. Max has already earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and is currently earning his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia.

Melody Douglas

Melody Douglas is a senior, expected class of 2019, who is from Des Moines, Iowa. Douglas will graduate from the University of the District of Columbia, where their vision is for all students to achieve their highest levels of human potential, with a bachelor’s degree in special education.

Shaniah Tullis

Shaniah Tullis, expected class of 2021, is from Washington, D.C. and will graduate from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University. 

Miranda Merritt

Miranda Merritt, expected class of 2021, is from Alexandria, Virginia and will graduate from Spelman College, the number one ranked Historically Black College and University.

Zipporah Bright

Zipporah Bright, expected class of 2021, is from Gaithersburg, Maryland and will graduate from Morgan State University, which has graduated more than 50,000 degree candidates since its establishment.

Na’Charlesia Floyd

Na’Charlesia Floyd, expected class of 2022, is from Americus, Georgia. She will graduate from the Xavier University of Louisiana, one of the nation’s top four producers of African American Doctor of Pharmacy degree recipients.
