Zhane Austin

Returning awardee, Zhane Austin, expected class of 2021, is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is currently studying Political Science at Hampton University. Zhane has a plethora of pre-law experience with working as a legal intern for Philadelphia Defenders Association, serving as a legal intern for Aziz Law Group, and a judicial intern for Judge James Lynn in Philadelphia Family Court. She is highly involved in politics with interning as a congressional intern, serving as education chair for the NAACP, and volunteering with the Democratic National Committee through voter outreach. Upon graduation, Zhane aspires to graduate from to attend law school and become a public defender to use her platform to advocate for neglected and abused children.
