Zachary Gunn

Zachary Gunn, expected class of 2025, is from Alexandria, Virginia. He is studying Psychology on a Pre-Med track at Morehouse College. In the summer of 2023, Zachary began the summer at a Biotech company, LEAS Lab, in Boston, MA. Here, he helped facilitate biotech lab skills and trained individuals who were interested in going into the biotech industry. He also facilitated a cohort of 14 students in Aseptic techniques (basic tissue cell culture), Nucleic Acid Purification (DNA Extraction, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry), and ELISA. After his internship in Boston, he went to Washington, D.C. for the Summer Health Professions Education Program at Howard University and studied pre-nursing. He is also a member of the Morehouse College Chapter of the UNCF Pre-Alumni Association where he connects young African- American male students to Morehouse alumni for guidance and advice.
