Wisdom Talley

Wisdom Talley, 2021 Honorable Louis Stokes HBCU Scholarship Recipient Wisdom Talley, expected class of 2024, is from Elon, North Carolina. She is studying Nursing at Howard University, where she maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA her freshman year. Wisdom received the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) Golden Cupola Award for her outstanding academic and leadership achievements. She has experience as a camp counselor and Residential Life Assistant. Wisdom attended the NCSSM Summer Leadership and Research Program where she worked with bacteria, and the Wake Forest Medical Camp. Upon graduating from Howard University, Wisdom plans to become a neonatal nurse practitioner to increase representation in the medical field and decrease alarming Black maternal death rates.
