Taylor Owens

Taylor Owens, expected class of 2023, is from Baltimore, Maryland. Taylor studies Health Management at Howard University. Within the College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS), Taylor is the Director of Scholastic Pursuits working to supply scholarships, internship/externship, and research opportunities to students. As the First Year Experience Director for The First Family, Taylor was responsible for implementing programming to ensure a smooth transition for prospective freshmen and transfer students. In Baltimore, Taylor is a Founding Member and Co-Director of the Health Leadership Academy of the Baltimore City Health Department. Taylor works to provide direct executive experiences in healthcare for students in mentored research programs. Upon graduation, Taylor will become a Chief Operating Officer for a health-related research program later pursuing her Master’s in Health Administration and a PhD in Healthcare Management.
