Nya Morgan

Nya Morgan, expected class of 2024, is from Bowie, Maryland. Nya is an International Studies student at Spelman College. Nya has volunteered with the Social Change Fund and traveled across North Carolina encouraging voter registration and participation. She has also volunteered for the Mayoral campaign of the first Black woman to serve as mayor of St. Louis, Missouri, Tishaura Jones. Additionally, she has attended the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Summer Advocacy Institute. Furthermore, Nya is a Student Ambassador for the Chris Paul Family Foundation and helps with food distribution at Kingdom Fellowship A.M.E. Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. Upon graduation, Nya hopes to pursue a career in social change and advocacy from a global perspective.
