Nya Morgan

Returning Awardee Nya Morgan, expected class of 2024, is from Bowie, Maryland. Nya is an International Studies student at Spelman College. In the summer of 2023, Nya worked in Los Angeles for the Creative Artist Agency as an intern in the Foundation department. Nya supported the day-to-day roles of this talent and entertainment agency by assisting agents with administrative tasks and working closely with clients to ensure their desires were met. Nya also served an internship for the Social Change Fund United and was a production assistant for the BET HER Awards that honors motivational and empowering women in art and social justice. She currently serves as a chair for the National Council of Negro Women and member of the student-led mental health organization H.O.P.E at Spelman College that promotes health and wellness, peer counseling, and education. Upon graduation, Nya plans to pursue a career in social change and advocacy from a global perspective.
