Nya Love

Nya Love, expected class of 2024, is from Little Rock, Arkansas. Nya is a Biology student at Dillard University. She is a member of the Minority Association for Pre-Med Scholars and the Emerging STEM Program. She is also a member of the President’s Organization of Dillard’s Up-and-Coming Superstars (PODUS) for which she serves the community as an ambassador for special events. Off campus, Nya is the Community Outreach Coordinator for A Brand New Day, a nonprofit organization working to destigmatize mental health in the Black community. Nya is an Ajilla Future Leaders Fellow for which she receives professional and personal development assistance. Upon graduating, Nya plans to become a pediatrician to serve marginalized communities, reduce health disparities, and raise awareness about the importance of preventative care.
