Maya Solomon

Maya Solomon, expected class of 2023, is originally from Detroit, Michigan. Maya is studying Sociology (pre-law track) at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. While maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Maya is a Presidential Scholar at her school. She is a member of the FAMU Chapter of NAACP as well as the Hatchett Pre- Law Society. Maya is a co-founder of the DAYUM - Detroit Area Youth Uniting Michigan and a March for Our Lives Detroit Organizer. Maya was a Tennis Academy Coach from 2017 to 2019. Upon graduation, Maya will attend law school and start a foundation in the areas of human and civil rights, mentorship and outreach, public policy, criminal justice, social work, and grassroots social change.
