Marvellous Oke, expected class of 2020, is originally from Ogun State, Nigeria. She currently attends Morgan State University, where she is majoring in Psychology (research and medicine track). Prior to attending Morgan State University, Marvellous completed a dual enrollment program at Prince George’s Community College. She is active within the community at-large with having served as an outreach intern for Congresswoman Donna Edwards, served as a student tutor, and currently serving as a student researcher. She has dedicated her life to community service through volunteering for over eight organizations; she has done important work with mentoring inner-city youth, packing bulk food items for low-income constituents, and serving the homeless population in Baltimore, MD. Upon completing her bachelor’s degree in a year, Marvellous will attend medical school to obtain her MD/Ph.D. She wants to become a pediatrician neurologist while conducting research in the neuroscience field
