Joshua Wallington

Returning awardee Joshua Wallington, expected class of 2025, is from Troy, Michigan. Joshua is studying Computer Science at Howard University. In the summer of 2023, Joshua was an intern at Google and a STEP intern supporting YouTube. He also took foreign language classes to improve his Spanish and Arabic skills, while also speaking Russian. Joshua is very proud of the work he did for the Apple Watch Dashboard in which he created a full stack application using React and Python that allows a user to upload their exported Apple Watch data and visualize and manipulate that data in a dashboard. Joshua is a member of the National Society of Black Engineers and a member of the Howard University Showtime Marching Band Drumline. Upon graduating, Joshua plans to pursue a career in the computer science industry.
