Jessikah Tassin

Returning awardee Jessikah Tassin, expected class of 2024, is from Dallas, Texas. Jessikah is studying Political Science at Howard University. In the summer of 2023, Jessikah continued her internship with Ward + White Law Group, in her hometown. She also studied for the LSAT, in preparation for the October exam date. At Howard University, she served as President of Programming in Aya Inc. where she organized and planned monthly and annual events for industry leaders. She currently serves as an office intern in the Howard University Undergraduate Student Assembly and works with different student-led committees to execute campus events targeting mental health, study habits, and student engagement. She was also selected as the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List Recipient from 2020-2022. Upon graduation, Jessikah plans to start a nonprofit organization and pursue a career in politics as a Texas U.S. Senator.
