Indigo Passariello

Indigo Passariello, expected class of 2021, is originally from Scarsdale, New York studying Jazz at Howard University. Indigo is an independent guitar instructor and a social media manager. She has also served as a Performing Arts Camp Counselor at Independent Lake Camp. While at Howard, she started a music organization called Soul Sistas, that volunteers with Creative Minds International Public Charter School in D.C. She is also a member of Afro Blue, Howard’s premier vocal jazz ensemble. Through this group, she volunteers by teaching free masterclasses to young students interested in the arts. Upon graduation, Indigo will attend graduate school for music education and then go on to teach music theory and songwriting at the collegiate level. She would also like to create scholarships of her own for students in need that are pursuing their own dreams of furthering their education.
