Déja Daniel

Returning Awardee Déja Daniel, class of 2024, is from Atlanta, Georgia. She is studying Criminology and Spanish at Howard University. She has also studied abroad at the Universidad Del Mar in Oaxaca, Mexico. Déja was a community mobilizer for U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff’s 2020-2021 campaign. On-campus, Déja is the Secretary of Revolt, Incorporated, a member of the National Council of Negro Women Howard University Section, and a member of the Model United Nations Team. In summer 2022, Déja participated in the Lex Fellowship, a law immersion program in Madrid, Spain. Déja plans to attend law school to become a defense Attorney and eventually a Judge to uphold the laws of the land.
