David Tinsley

David Tinsley, expected class of 2025, is from Detroit, Michigan. David is studying Nursing at Tennessee State University. In the summer of 2023 David worked to prepare for the next academic school year by studying and preparing for his first semester of nursing school at Tennessee State University’s Bachelors of Science in Nursing program. He was doing so by staying on campus while working at two local hospitals. David has previous leadership experience as he was the President of Watson Hall. Some of his many tasks included maintaining and overseeing the residential housing association with leadership procedures. Upon graduating, David plans to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing, become a nurse practitioner, and eventually educate the next generation of Black nursing students.
