Christyn Carr

Christyn Carr, expected class of 2022, is originally from Johns Creek, Georgia. Christyn is a pre-nursing major with a 4.0 cumulative GPA at North Carolina A&T State University, an award-winning faculty, intensive research program, and community-focused university. She has served as a peer counselor for Confirmation Class 2015, head usher at St. James UMC, and as an instructor for the Women in Golf Foundation camp in Atlanta. She is also an active member of Bethel Campus Fellowship, Black History Club, and North Carolina A&T State University's Golf Team. Christyn has been nominated for induction into the African American Golfers Hall of Fame in 2018. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her academics, talents, and community service. Upon graduating from North Carolina A&T State University, Christyn will specialize in pediatrics and attend graduate school to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
