Joshua Wallington

Joshua Wallington, expected class of 2025, is from Troy, Michigan. Joshua is studying Computer Science at Howard University. In the summer of 2022, Joshua interned with the Force Project Sector at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory working to modernize U.S. strategic systems and enhance military operations. He has participated in Google’s Code Next and Google’s Computer Science Summer Institute to diversify the computer technology industry. He was a semi-finalist in the First Annual HBCU Zillow Hackathon for which he created an artificially intelligent chatbox to support Generation Z’s home buying. On campus, Joshua is a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, the SHOWTIME Marching Band, and the Michigan Club. Upon graduating, Joshua plans to pursue a career in the computer science industry.
